Dangerous Android settings; you need to remove
Several settings on our Android phone are kept by default. But we need to change it for various purposes. Sometimes it's going to be dangerous if we don't change, and it may be responsible for our privacy leaking.
Then it turns out to be dangerous Android settings. In this article, I will share 5 dangerous Android settings that you should stop urgently.
#1 Stop your privacy leaking through notifications
#2 Disable unwanted access to the Control center
#3 Turn off unnecessary app notifications
#4 Google automatically saves your username or password; is it good or bad?
We need to access different types of websites using a username and password. In that case, Google can automatically save those usernames or passwords so that it will be easy to log in to that website next time. It's good for us. But on the other side, it's bad. If our Gmail account is h**ked or anyone can access the Gmail account, the unauthorized person can easily use our saved username or password for our Gmail account-linked website.
The bad side of this setting is that you have to keep in mind all passwords or usernames individually for login. To be easy, you can keep those passwords in Notepad.
#5 Does anyone else know your live location?
Many are heard to say that someone else knows when and where I have been. This means your real-time location is being shared. Maybe someone did it by trick. I will show you how to check it.
>> Log in to the Google Maps app.
>> Tap on the right corner where your Gmail logo is.
>> Then you will get an option 'Location Sharing'. If you see a name or Gmail account showing at the bottom of the screen, tap on it. If it doesn't show, it's fine. Then click on 'Stop' from the 'Can see your location' option.
>> Click on 'Remove from list' from the three dots above and delete the spying Gmail.
Now your location is not shared with anyone else.
#6 Stop call forwarding
If your incoming call goes to someone else then the Call Forwarding option is on in your phone. Here's how to turn it off if someone else or you did it by mistake -
>> Go to Android Settings.
>> Go to the search option above the settings and search by writing 'Call forwarding'.
>> Then go to Call Forwarding settings and turn off all the options like the image below.
