Could have a screen protector for further physical security, but no. In case of build quality, we found plastic in several places of this watch.

Display

The watch features a 1.53-inch TFT touchscreen HD display with a resolution of 360x360 pixels. It’s bright and clear, making it easy to navigate, even in bright sunlight. But display brightness could be better in direct sunlight. We got vivid pictures from this display.

I would say a better value for money if there is an AMOLED Panel display. However, Haylou Solar Neo TFT display resolution or performance is good enough.

Set aside company claims and in real-life experience, we got something different. After fully charged, its battery lasted almost 4 days as we always kept turning on its calling features and kept always connected with phone on regular basis.

But it can vary depending on your use case. On average, you can get 7 days of battery backup once fully charged.

The Solar Neo is equipped with several fitness tracking capabilities, including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, step counting, and support for multiple sports modes like running, cycling, and hiking.

Having of microphone and speaker also and its weight is only 48 grams cause of plastic build. Haylou provided a 22-millimeter silicon strap (highly comfortable) with it. It was one of the best straps in this price range supposed to me.

It would be good if Haylou did further branding here and various color versions available for the Haylou Solar Neo smartwatch. The crown side and button provide a kind of smoothie feeling.

The crown side button allows a click feeling in every rotation also there is an exercise button.

Cause of only 48 grams, it can't make any bulky feeling in the wrist. Haylou Solar Neo's dial is 48.4 mm and round in shape. It's bezel size and look, I feel like almost kind of a sports watch.

We didn't face any problems with animation, or transition from its display though the refresh rate is less than 60hz. Every app opening time was similar, and page navigation was also speedy and responsive.

More than 150 plus watch faces in the Haylou Solar Neo smartwatch. It's connected by Bluetooth 5.3 advanced 2-in-1 connection mode that offers stable signal stabilization and quick response. Especially for smooth calling through it.

Low connectivity mode is for notification and secondary mode is responsible for calling. We didn't experience any signal drop or call drop from this. We found on average clear audio and the speaker is enough loud.

Controlling app

It was supposed to be slightly well decorated and functioned more at the average level. Haylou fun app offers you customizable wallpaper settings. This app can provide all controlling functions from Android to Haylou Solar Neo smartwatch.

Vibration Motor

I found an average-level vibration motor here in my test. It could be better. Let's talk about its sensor's performance.

spO2 and heart rate sensor performed head to head, almost 98% accurate.

Supposed to be 94% accurate in step counting. To check its calorie reader feature, we test it outdoors. We played badminton and did some exercise.
