Tips 💡: Before that, if your condition is so difficult that you can't just input your login password from lock screen in your computer or laptop, then right click on the corner side human shaped 'Accessibility' icon and turn on 'on-screen keyboard'.

So let's start. I suppose your keyboard still not working and you have to use on-screen keyboard. To use it, right click on 'start' icon from taskbar. Click on 'settings' from here.


Click on 'Accessibility' from the left menu.


Find the 'keyboard' section and click on it.


Then a little bit scroll down and enable 'On-screen keyboard'. 
Now a perfect size keyboard is shown on your screen. You can minimize it, change the size, and perform all the typing actions using it.

Now we have to go 'Start' menu search bar. Type here 'run' and click the 'Run' app.


Then a small dialogue box will be shown and write 'regedit' here. Click on 'Ok'.


Now A window come up as 'Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?' Click on 'Yes'.

A new type of interface will be shown. Expand the 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE' folder from the left side listed files. Then again expand 'SYSTEM' folder by clicking.


Expand the 'CurrentControlSet' folder and next expand the 'Services' folder.

Now a huge number of folder list come up and start scrolling down until found the 'i8042prt' folder. If found click on that folder.


On the right side options, right click on 'Start' and select 'Modify'.


Here a new dialogue box will be opened. Change the 'value data' from here into 1. If there is other numbers change it into 1 and click 'Ok'.


Now restart your PC or laptop.

Enable Filter keys

1. Go to the settings of your computer.
2. From the right hand menu options here, you have to look for 'Accessibility' option. Once found, click on it.


3. From the right hand side, scroll down and look for keyboard, click on 'keyboard'.

4. Here you have to look for 'Filter keys'. If this option has been already enabled, then disable this. After disabling, you can check back if the problem has been fixed. But it's already been disabled, you can try enabling it. Then check back if fix the problem.

Update Keyboard Driver

1.Make a right click on 'Start' menu. Choose 'device manager'.


2. Once the device manager comes up, find the 'keyboard' section and expand it by double clicking. Here you find your keyboard. Just right click on it and choose 'Update driver'.


3. Click 'Search automatically for drivers'. If you get this message, 'The best drivers for you device are already just installed', then close it. But there's update available, it will automatically update it. After that, check back if the problem get fixed.
